This training will give attendees instruction on how to implement the mSpray tool. Trainees will learn about the steps to personalize the tool for their context, through both an explanation of the theory behind spatial tools and interactive discussions and exercises. The training will be taught in English, though we will have French-speaking trainers in the room for support. See below for full course agenda.
The general agenda for the training will be as follows:
Introduction: Review of the mSpray application and what the attendees will learn towards how to ready themselves to use it or similar tools/approaches (Expectation Setting)
The KEY challenges: What are the key challenges we encounter when trying to collect and rely on data to track and drive intervention progress?
Challenge 1: The denominator: Measuring what is "on-the-ground" using satellite imagery: in this session we will review the methods, software, and processes to enumerate imagery and prepare it for use
Enumeration Case Study
Challenge 2: Focal Intervention Delivery: Where do we deliver interventions given limited resources? In this session we will review strategies for practical prioritization and how to implement your targeting strategy for your intervention.

Break for Lunch
Challenges 3 and 4: Tracking Progress and Using data: How we use the tool to ensure an intervention is reaching the intended target? How we ensure the data gathered by the tool is consumed by decision-makers on a regular basis? In this session we will review specific training structure, protocol development, and field support strategies.
Data visualization Case Study
Access and Applications: In our wrap-up session we will share where all documentation for tool-support can be accessed and will close out with a review of all applications of the tool.
